I PETER 1:13-16
13. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14. As obedient childern, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16. Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

I like a sample sermon on holiness which is “Read bible, obey and fear God, and will grow in grace and holiness“.
Dr Alan Cairns mentions in last sermon, he likes 1 Peter ch 1, which mentions about holiness in your life, also he fears God, but most FPC ministers will not apply this to all of their walk or daily business, other wise Paisley would be fired as minister long ago.
Lets say for example, there is one big sin commented in FPC and congregation knows of it, then respected preacher comes and says I fear God and like Christains to follow holiness, so come on now, you are all brethren, Christ has satisfied you, your sin are all forgiven, you are Christ elect, have faith in Christ that all will work out for good and forget about pass and look ahead by being busy in preaching gospel to expand and grow. This is the position the FPC is in this minute.This is not Holiness.
